Meet who we are!
Helios Doodles was created in 2021. In December of 2020, my family found out some devastating news. My husband that I have been with since 1996, was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 gastric cancer. At the time, it was my husband Brad, our two young sons (Talon-10, & Phoenix-6), and Karma, our 10-year-old Lab mix. My husband was given about a year by the doctor, but we are all fighters in this family.
We got Archie and Cherry Bomb from a breeder friend of mine to help cope with the depression and anxiety of the stresses of our new way of life, which were adding on top of the stresses of COVID. I knew that the dogs would help the kids and Brad through these tough times, but little did I know that they would be my strength when I needed someone. They healed my heart and soul when I didn't even know I needed healing. This is why I want to share my heart and soul healers with other people. They will become your true friend and companion, that will heal you in ways you never thought.
Our program has strict standards that our Dams/Sires adherer to. The Dams/Sires are health tested and properly evaluated for good temperament, intelligence, aptitude, and bloodline.
Our dogs and puppies are raised on a curriculum that teaches them how to be well-rounded and full of love. Our main focus is creating top-notch Goldendoodles. Early on our puppies learn human love and kindness and the importance of a positive human relationship. We work every day with our puppies and give them challenges to overcome, this creates well-balanced and highly intelligent puppies. Our puppies will show good nerve strength and positive association to learning and training. They learn problem-solving and coping skills that help teach cause and effect which helps them to handle daily life. We also begin work on potty training! We have a selective group of volunteers that help with the proper socialization of our puppies and increase resiliency. We treat and raise all of our puppies as if they will all become service dogs. We are selective about our dog lineage, so we can create puppies that have the right temperament, intelligence, and aptitude for service work.

How we find/pick and raise our dogs.
We search for, train, and test our Dams/Sires to ensure we are getting nothing but the best in health, intelligence, temperament, and bloodlines for our program. We strive to be open and transparent with what we do at Helios Doodles. We all have to be a voice for our dogs and puppies, we are in this together. Helios Doodles will be here to help you and your puppy from the time you fill out the adoption application until after you have gotten your puppy home. We raise our puppies all while aligning with their developmental benchmarks. We ensure that they are empowered and know that the world is safe, we show our puppies that people and dogs are kind and friendly.
Advanced Curriculum for puppies
We use the Badass Breeders Advanced Curriculum and use a program that is based on handling needs. We perform the ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) on each puppy to improve performance in trainability, health, and the puppy's full potential.
Once the puppies are 3 weeks old we give them daily "Puppy Massage". It is a 10 step program that exposes puppies to various types of human touching and handling. New puppy owners are educated more on this program so they can continue this 10 step program at home with their new puppy. Children in the family should also take part in this program with the new puppy(with parental supervision)
Socialization & Problem-solving skills
We also begin a very vital role of socializing puppies, which results in a well-balanced puppy. We follow the developmental stages of the puppies and we introduce them to various stimuli. Slowly and carefully we introduce them to different environments, including outside when they are ready to explore. We work with puppies so they can be empowered and overcome the fear of new objects/people. We also provide daily mental and physical challenges to the puppies to help them learn to independently cope and problem-solve. We use items that puppies can chew on, items that they can carry around, items that move around, obstacles that they have to climb on and maneuver around to get to the other side. We also have puppies participate in confidence-building activities.
Puppy play & evaluations
Puppy play helps develop strength, agility, coordination, and skills so puppies can become well-adjusted adult dogs. Intelligent dogs are great at using problem-solving skills. Puppies that have all these daily challenges and experiences are great at learning and can handle frustration and can cope well using their coping skills. During this time we improve the puppies' nerve conductivity in both speed and accuracy. We work hard with our puppies(even before they are born) so that they can become adult dogs with coping skills, high intelligence, and sound temperament. These kinds of wonderful skills are all taught through our advanced curriculum and puppy play. We take advantage of the puppy's innate desire to work and learn. We are able to use this timeframe and teach the curriculum to the puppies. They are ready to take the puppy aptitude test/evaluation at 7 weeks old. The aptitude test focuses on 12 important puppy temperament traits that not only help us know the puppy personality but also help to match you with the puppy that fits you and your lifestyle.
Picture/videos & PPD
We provide pictures and videos of the puppies during their time with us, which will be accessible to you on the direct link page, given to you via email . We document the puppies' first 8 weeks, we create a litter specific online album our families have access to. This way you can be apart of your puppy's entire journey from birth. You will get to see how all the puppies change in size, weight, and personality as they get older! On Puppy Pickup Day (PPD) we give you a puppy packet that includes all the puppy documentation. Including a copy of the contract, the puppy socialization chart, the appropriate vaccinations and deworming, a toy, a puppy blanket with mom's scent.
Stand by our puppies and clients
We will take back our puppy for any reason and at any time. This is our 100% lifetime returnability guarantee. If you need to return your puppy/adult dog for any reason please reach out to us! We will find a resolution to the problem/reason, even if it is for us to take the puppy/dog back. Our puppies/dogs do not belong in the shelters. Helios Doodles provides a 2 year Genetic Health Guarantee. This is a guarantee against fatal/severe genetic defects. If in the first 2 years of your puppy’s life they are diagnosed by a vet/specialist (Helios Doodles discretion depending on defect) with a genetic defect, we will work with you on finding a resolution. We want you to know that we will be here for you and your puppy well after you have purchased your puppy from us. Helios Doodles will always be the voice for our dogs and puppies.
